Father Michael Farino was first named publicly as accused of sexual abuse of a minor on the New Orleans archdiocese’s list in November of 2018. According to the list, Father Farino was removed from ministry in 1990 after the allegation was reported. The alleged abuse was said to have occurred in the 1970’s and 1980’s. No further information has been released about the nature of the abuse or the gender/age of the victim.
