Fr. Michael Proulx served at Sacred Heart in Alturas, California, from 1945-1959. Proulx left the Diocese of Sacramento in 1959 for reasons unknown. In 2011, allegations were made against Proulx stating he sexually abused a boy under 14 years old sometime in the 1950s while he was at Sacred Heart.
