According to media reports, Sr. Eileen Patrice of the Sisters of Joseph was accused of sexually abusing a minor from 1961 to 1962 while she was serving at St. Joseph in Schenectady, New York. Patrice was assigned to St. Joseph’s in the Diocese of Albany from 1960-1962. No additional information on the allegation regarding the age/gender of the victim was given nor was the nature of the alleged sexual abuse. Sr. Patrice was named in a civil lawsuit filed against the Diocese of Albany in June 2020.
