Father Edwin Kennedy was ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Ogdensburg in 1951. He served in multiple parishes throughout his career. According to media reports, in November 2018, his name was included on the Diocese of Ogdensburg’s list of 28 priests who were credibly accused of sexual misconduct with a minor or a vulnerable adult.
Details of the allegation, including the number of alleged victims or when and where the alleged misconduct occurred, are unknown. The list noted that Father Kennedy died in October 1990. Whether or not he was still active in the ministry is unknown.
