Fr. Stephen Maguire was ordained in 1987. According to media reports, in April 2019, his name appeared on the Archdiocese of New York’s list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. He was removed from ministry in 2019.

Very little is known of Maguire’s activities within the church as the Archdiocese of New York has not released any information about Maguire’s assignment history. In addition, information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or Maguire’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.
