Summary of Abuse Allegations against Brother Donald DuFour:

Brother Donald DuFour was a member of the Holy Cross Fathers Order from approximately 1977 to 1979. Throughout his career, he served in multiple parishes in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He worked in education as a counselor, as well as a religion teacher. According to a 2005 Archdiocese of Los Angeles report, he was named in a civil lawsuit alleging he sexually abused a minor boy from 1977 to 1979, while he was assigned to Rancho San Antonio Boys Home in Chatsworth.

In 2005, Brother DuFour’s name appeared on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Addendum of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It is believed he may be living in New York as he often visits Holy Cross School in Louisiana, which is his alma-mater. His current status as a religious brother and whether he has access to children are unknown.
