Fr. Bernard Waltos worked at various parishes throughout Michigan and California. According to the Diocese of San Bernardino, Waltos was accused of abusing a minor from 1984 to 1990, while his status was unknown. In 2010, as part of a settlement with survivors of clergy sexual abuse, the Diocese of San Diego released Waltos’ personnel file. Waltos was included in the Diocese of San Bernardino’s list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse.
