Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Esteban Rodriguez:

Fr. Esteban Rodriguez was from Puerto Rico and ordained a priest of the Carmelite Fathers and Brothers. According to media reports, in 2001, he and three other priests were named in a lawsuit alleging child sexual abuse. The priests were alleged to have paid a 16-year-old boy for sex between January 1996 and August 1998 at St. Simon Stock in the Bronx, New York. The lawsuit stated the boy witnessed the priests participate in “group masturbation” and was threatened with harm if he exposed their sexual escapades. The suit was settled later that year.

Rodriguez was believed to be in Puerto Rico in the early 2000s. His current whereabouts are unknown.
