Br. Juan Macias was a member of the Dominican Order who served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, in 1988, he was accused in a civil lawsuit of sexually abusing an altar boy and providing him with drugs and alcohol from 1983-1986. Br. Macias left St. Dominic parish in 1986, just two years before the allegations against him surfaced. His clerical status and whereabouts are unknown.
