Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father David Chandler:

Fr. David Chandler was ordained a Paulist priest in 1975, and served in the Diocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, allegations of the sexual abuse of a young girl in 1982 at St. Paul the Apostle in Los Angeles were received in 1986 and 2004. Records indicate that Fr. Chandler went on a leave of absence in 1981, and then left the Paulist Fathers.

It is believed that Fr. Chandler is deceased, but the year is unknown. He was named as accused by the Los Angeles archdiocese in its October 2008 “Final Addendum to the Report to the People of God.” His name is also included on the March 2019 Paulists’ list.
