Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Edward Casey:

Fr. Edward Casey was ordained a priest of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Mary and Jesus in 1960, and served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, in 2003, he was named in a civil lawsuit and accused of sexually abusing at least three children between approximately 1974 and 1979, while working at Damien Boys High School in LaVerne, California.

Fr. Casey’s name was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2004 list of Credibly Accused Clergy of Sexual Abuse of a Minor. Fr. Casey’s current whereabouts, his status as a priest, and whether he has had access to children from 1991 to the present, are unknown.
