Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Eugene Colosimo:

Fr. Eugene Colosimo was ordained a priest in 1943, and served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, in 2016, a report was made to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles that Fr. Eugene Colosimo sexually abused a minor in 1978 at Loyola High School in Los Angeles, CA. The details of the sexual abuse allegations, including the victim’s age/gender, are unknown.

Fr. Colosimo taught at Jesuit high schools in San Jose, CA, Phoenix AZ, Santa Barbara CA, and Los Angeles. He retired in 1994 due to illness and lived at Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos until he died in 2006 at the age of 91. He was named credibly accused by the Los Angeles Archdiocese in 2018, and by the Jesuits West Province on its list in 2018.
