Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Juan Cano:

Fr. Juan Cano, from Chihuahua, Mexico, was ordained a priest in 2015, and served in the Diocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, he was an associate pastor of Our Lady of Grace in Encino, CA. Just under three years into his role, he was removed from the ministry in January 2018, pending an investigation by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and City Attorney after reports that the priest engaged in “inappropriate contact” with several women, including a minor, at his parish.

The incidents were alleged to have occurred between 2014 and 2017. Fr. Cano is listed on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2018 list of Archdiocesan Clergy Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor. His status as a priest, whereabouts, and whether he had access to children from 2018 to the present is unknown.
