Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Patrick Flannery:

According to media reports, in 2018, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro read a grand jury report that listed more than 300 abusive priests in Pennsylvania. A month later, dioceses in Arkansas and San Diego released their own lists of priests and clergy members who were credibly accused of child sex abuse. Since then, there have been hundreds of abusive clergy named every month by dioceses, religious orders and lawyers across the country.

Father Patrick Flannery was named publicly as accused on the the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ updated list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It noted allegations reported in 2010 of child sexual abuse incidents from 1955 to 1960.

Father Flannery died in 1973.
