Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Richard Francis Garcia:

Fr. Richard Francis Garcia was ordained a priest in 1958, who served in multiple parishes in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He left the priesthood in 1967. According to media reports, in 2002, he was accused of sexually abusing a minor boy from 1961 to 1963 while he served at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Northridge.

His name appeared on the 2005 Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ report addendum of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. His whereabouts from the time he left the priesthood were unknown until his death in approximately 2008.
