Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Thomas King:
Fr. Thomas King was ordained a priest in 1964, who served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, in 2004, he was accused in a civil lawsuit of sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy at St. Louise de Marillac in Covina, CA, from 1967 to 1968. The reports say that Fr. King allegedly tied the boy’s legs together with tape, then sodomized and masturbated him. The files also claim that Fr. King beat the boy’s genitals with a stick and told the victim it was necessary to beat the homosexuality out of him to save the boy’s dying father. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles settled the suit that same year.
Fr. King was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. It is believed Fr. King is currently retired and residing in Venice, California.
