Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Vincent Molthen:

Fr. Vincent Molthen was a Redemptorist priest was ordained a priest in 1951, who served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, he was accused of sexually abusing a child in 1961 while serving at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Whittier. Fr. Molthen was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2004 list of priests accused of sexual misconduct involving minors. Fr. Molthen died in 1995.
