Summary of Abuse Allegations against Msgr. Daniel Hurley:

Msgr. Daniel Hurley was ordained a priest in 1921, who served in multiple parishes in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He was one of the first associates at San Buenaventura, and directed the parish for 15 years. He served 18 years as founding pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption in Ventura. According to media reports, he was accused of sexual abuse of a minor. However, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles states that there is no information in his personnel file to substantiate sex abuse.

Father Hurley retired in 1972 and died in 1982 at age 88..
