Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father John Quatannens:

Fr. Quatannens was ordained a priest in 1936, who served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, in 2009, a victim came forward accusing the priest of sexual abuse that occurred from 1971-1972. The details of the sexual abuse allegations, including where the alleged abuse occurred, or the victim’s age/gender, are unknown. In 2018, the priest was publicly exposed when his name was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Updated list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse, which supplements the 2004 Report to the People of God.

Fr. Quatannens died in 1994.
