Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Michael Roebert:
Father Michael Roebert was ordained a priest in 1966 who served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, he was named in a November 2003 lawsuit alleging that he had sexually abused a minor boy from approximately 1969 to 1970, while he worked at St. Joseph’s in Pomona. In 2004, the Archdiocese investigated the allegations and found them to be unsubstantiated.
Father Roebert’s name was included in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ 2005 list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. It is believed he is still in active ministry at St. Lucy in Long Beach, CA but it is unknown if he has access to minors.
