Summary of Abuse Allegations against Sister Agnes Santomassimo:
Sister Agnes Santomassimo was a member of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart who served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. She held various positions throughout the span of her career, and worked in hospitals in New York, Canada, and Chicago Illinois, where she was the Accounting and Personnel Director at St. F.X. Cabruü Hospital. She also served as her order's provincial office secretary treasurer for over 32 years. According to media reports, she was named in at least one civil lawsuit alleging that she sexually abused at least one child in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
Sister Santomassimo retired in 2001 and died in 2005. Her whereabouts and whether she had access to children from 2003 until her death are unknown. In July 2013, her personnel file was released. It was 2 pages long.
