Father Thomas Sullivan was a Jesuit priest ordained in 1944, who served in multiple parishes in Japan, Rome, Hawaii, and in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. According to media reports, in 2002, he was accused of child sexual abuse said to have occurred in 1953 at Loyola High School. Father Sullivan was accused in a 2003 lawsuit of sexually abusing a Loyola High student from 1956-1958. At least one civil lawsuit was filed against him. His name appeared on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors.
Father Sullivan died in 1992.
