Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Colman O’Connor:

Fr. Colman O’Connor worked in the Diocese of Monterey. According to Bishop Accountability, in 2019, Fr. O’Connor was included on the Diocese of Monterey’s 2019 List of Credibly Accused Clergy of Sexual Abuse. Very little is known of O’Connor’s activities within the church, as the Diocese of Monterey has not released any information about O’Connor’s assignment history.

The list states that there was a report received in 1993 against Fr. Colman O’Connor in reference to sexual abuse that took place between 1979-1980. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, or O’Connor’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse is unknown.

Fr. O’Connor died in 1996.
