Fr. Laurent Largente was ordained a priest in 1959 who served in multiple parishes in the Archdiocese of San Francisco and the Diocese of San Jose. According to media reports, in 2018, his name was included on the Diocese of San Jose list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. It noted he was removed from ministry when an allegation of abuse occurring while Fr. Largente was assigned to St. Patrick's Cathedral in 1980-1983, was received in 1994. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victims or the nature of the alleged sexual abuse is unknown. Largente was removed from ministry the same year the victim came forward. He was later banned from ministry in 2002.
Fr. Largente died in 2015.
