Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father William S Myers:

In 2011, Fr. William S Myers was removed from his position at St. Raymond’s Church in Menlo Park, California for a “boundary violation” after it became known by the Archdiocese of San Francisco that he had followed a 17-year-old boy into a San Francisco clothing store dressing room the previous month. According to media reports, the boy’s father saw what happened and banged on the dressing room door before anything had happened. He called the Police, but no charges were pressed because he stopped the act.

Myers acknowledged he had a sexual addiction, but he thought the boy was over 18. In the mid-to-late 1990s, Myers took a leave of absence to receive treatment for sex addiction and “sexual identity issues”.

Myers’ whereabouts since 2011 are unknown.
