Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Jan Sanders:

Fr. Jan Sanders was a Dutch Jesuit visiting the Diocese of St. Petersburg in the 1980s. In 2004, Sanders was accused of sexually abusing a minor while visiting at Christ the King in Tampa, FL in the 1980s. The details of the sexual abuse allegations, the victim’s age/gender, are unknown. Records indicate that ther have also been dozens of reports in the Netherlands that have accused Father Jan Sanders of sexual abuse to minors. He is publicly named in the FL Attorney General’s 2020 report.
