Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Theodore St. Hilaire:
Fr. Theodore St. Hilaire was ordained a priest of the Oregon Province in 1967, who served in the Diocese of San Jose. He was also an assistant for Indian missions in Omak and East Omak, WA for many years. He left the order in the mid-1970s. According to media reports, in 2011, St. Hilaire’s name was included on the Oregon Province’s list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse.
In 2018, St. Hilaire was also included on the Jesuits West Province list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. It noted allegations reported in 2009 in reference to abuse of a minor that took place in 1971-1972. Information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims or the nature of the alleged sexual abuse is unknown.
Fr. St. Hilaire was dismissed in 1974. His current whereabouts and whether he has/had access to children are unknown.
