Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Anthony McKay:

Fr. Anthony McKay became an ordained priest in 1960. McKay worked in the Diocese of Little Rock, Arkansas, from 1991-2001. He was dismissed from the priesthood in 2004.

In 2018, McKay was publicly named and included on the Diocese of Little Rock’s list of credibly accused clergy for whom allegations of sexual abuse of a minor have been admitted, substantiated, or determined or considered to be credible. There are ten victims, none that are known in Arkansas.

Very little is known of McKay’s activities within the church as the Diocese of Little Rock has not released any information about McKay’s assignment history. In addition, information about the age/gender of his alleged victim/victims, the nature of the alleged sexual abuse, McKay’s assignments at the time of the alleged abuse, or when the abuse took place is unknown.

Fr. McKay died in 2015.
