Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Msgr. Thomas Jordan:

Monsignor Thomas Jordan was ordained a priest in 1948 and served in the Diocese of Scranton. He served in multiple parishes throughout his career. According to a list maintained by Bishop Accountability.org, he was accused of repeatedly sexually abusing a 6 to 7-year-old boy from approximately 1979 to 1980. At the time of the alleged abuse, Monsignor Jordan was assigned to Church of the Epiphany in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

The sexual abuse by Monsignor Jordan occurred in the elementary school affiliated with Church of the
Epiphany on at least three occasions. He fondled the boy’s penis and testicles, skin-on-skin, and forced the boy to perform oral sex on Monsignor Jordan.

The claim settled in 2020 in the low six figures.

Monsignor Jordan died in September 1990.
