Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Fr. Paul Pinard:

Fr. Paul Pinard was ordained a priest in Vermont for the Edmundites in 1959, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Norwich. According to media reports, in 1991, he was removed from his parish in Quebec after an allegation of sexual misconduct with minors in Vermont in the 1980s surfaced. The allegation was found to credible, and he was immediately removed from ministry.

In 2004, Pinard retired to the order's residence in Florida. In 2005, the Norwich bishop learned of allegations and asked the order to remove him from the diocese. He moved to Selma, Alabama in 2013, and then to Vermont in 2016.

In 2019, Pinard's name was included on the Diocese of Norwich list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse. His name was also included on the Edmundites list.

Pinard died in 2017.
