Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Fr. Vincent Marino:

Fr. Vincent Marino was ordained to the priesthood in 1983, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Norwich. He was excardinated from the Diocese of Norwich in 1989, and incardinated into the Archdiocese of Siracusa, Italy.

According to media reports, in 2013, a man filed a lawsuit alleging that Fr. Marino sexually abused him as a teenager at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Niantic in 1983 and 1984. Marino allegedly would give him wine, buy him liquor, and watch porn with the boy before assaulting him on church grounds and elsewhere. The plaintiff said he reported the abuse to the Diocese when he was in his 20s, but no action was taken. He was later transferred to St. Mary’s Church in Stonington.

Marino’s name was included in the Diocese of Norwich’s 2019 list of clergy credibly accused with allegations of the substance of sexual abuse of a minor.

Marino’s current whereabouts are unknown.
