Fr. Armand Cyr was ordained a priest in 1961, who served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Portland. According to media reports, allegations of child sexual abuse in 1949 and 1957 against Fr. Cyr surfaced in 2002. The alleged victim was 11 years old when the first incident occurred. Details regarding the location and nature of the alleged abuse were not made available.
