Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Fr. Thomas Henderson:

According to media reports, in 2005, Fr. Thomas Henderson, who served in the Diocese of Portland was named in the Maine Attorney General’s Office report. It noted an allegation of child sexual abuse in 1945 or 1946 against Fr. Henderson. According to the alleged victim, the priest attempted to rape him when was 13-14 years old in Richmond. The victim also claimed there may have been more than one assault, but he did not have a clear memory since he and Henderson were intoxicated. The details regarding Fr. Henderson’s assignment at the time of the incident are unknown

Fr. Henderson is reported as deceased; however, the date of his death is unknown.
