Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Michael Kuhn:

Fr. Michael Kuhn was ordained a Catholic priest of the Fall River Diocese in 1997 for service in the Youth Apostles Institute, headquartered in Virginia, while working in the Archdiocese of Baltimore and Virginia since 2004. In 2022, Fr. Kuhn was listed on the Archdiocese of Baltimore's Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of Minors list  and Fall River's List of credibly accused clergy. In April 2023, Maryland's Attorney General released a report alleging 156 Catholic clergy members sexually abused at least 600 children over six decades. The report lists the names of the abusers, including Father Michael Kuhn.

According to the Archdiocese of Baltimore, in 2018, an individual accused Fr. Michael Kuhn of child sexual abuse in 1975. The abuse was said to have occurred in Manassas, Virginia, when Father Kuhn was approximately 18 years old. Manassas authorities were notified, and Fr. Kuhn was placed on administrative leave in the Archdiocese of Baltimore and the Diocese of Fall River pending the outcome of the investigation.

In 2019, after an investigation, the Diocese of Fall River found the accusation unfounded, but Fr. Kuhn did not return to ministry in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. In August 2022, the Diocese of Fall River placed Kuhn on its list of "credibly accused" priests after an accusation involving incidents of alleged verbal communications of an explicit sexual nature with minors.
