Summary of Abuse Allegations against Fr. Jerome Moody:

Fr. Jerome Moody was one of the 156 priests identified by the Maryland Attorney General as having been accused of sexually abusing minors during their tenure with the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

According to the Attorney General's report, a man reported in 2005 having been sexually abused by Fr. Moody over the course of three years, beginning in approximately 1975, when the victim was 14 years old. The victim was a member of the youth group at St. James and St. John Church in Baltimore. Fr. Moody hosted sleepovers in the rectory, inviting one boy at a time. On multiple occasions, at these sleepovers, Fr. Moody sexually abused the victim.

Fr. Moody's name appears on the Archdiocese of Baltimore's list of priests credibly accused of sexual misconduct with a minor. Fr. Moody's name also appears on the Redemptorist Order's list of priests credibly accused of sexual misconduct with a minor.

According to the Redemptorist Order, Fr. Moody died in 2006.
