According to media reports, in 2021, the Archdiocese of Baltimore received an allegation of sexual abuse of a minor against Fr. Romuald Meogrossi.

Fr. Meogrossi engaged in practice as a clinical professional counselor. The alleged abuse occurred during a clinical therapy session in 2006.

Fr. Meogrossi's name does not appear on the Archdiocese of Baltimore's list of clergy credibly accused of sexual misconduct with a minor. Fr. Meogrossi's name also does not appear on the Conventual Franciscan's list of clergy credibly accused of sexual misconduct with a minor.
