Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Blair Raum:

Fr. Blair Raum was ordained a Catholic priest and worked in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. In April 2023, Maryland's Attorney General released a report alleging 156 Catholic clergy members sexually abused at least 600 children over six decades. The report lists the names of the abusers, including Fr. Raum.

According to the Attorney General's report, in 2004, a woman reported having been sexually abused by Fr. Raum in the early 1970s when she was 16 years old. Fr. Raum sexually abused the victim on two occasions, including when the victim was an adult.

In 2022, a man reported having been sexually abused by Fr. Raum in 1971 at St. Ann in Baltimore. According to the report, Fr. Raum sexually abused the victim on multiple occasions at St. Ann as well as at the victim's home.

According to the report, on at least two occasions, Fr. Raum began sexually abusing victims when they were teenagers and then initiating sexual relationships with the victims when they were adults. In 2003, a woman reported having been sexually abused by Fr. Raum beginning in approximately 1971 when the victim was 12 years old. The victim attended youth ministry, which was run by Fr. Raum. Fr. Raum began providing counseling to the victim in 1971. Fr. Raum additionally sexually abused the victim in the rectory when she was approximately 14 years old and working at the rectory. Later, in the victim's early adulthood, Fr. Raum began a sexual relationship with the victim.

According to the report, the Archdiocese received reports beginning in 1988, at the latest, of Fr. Raum engaging in inappropriate relationships with children in the parish. This included taking non-consensual photographs of children, being physically abusive, hosting young boys at his house, providing alcohol to underage boys at his home, and hosting parties for underage parishioners.

Fr. Raum's name appears on the Archdiocese of Baltimore's Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of Minors list. Fr. Raum died in 2003.
