Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Francis William LeBlanc:
According to media reports, Father Francis William LeBlanc left the priesthood after about eight years in 1967, and served for 20 years as a New Orleans policeman until he retired as a captain in 1987. In May 1996, he pleaded guilty to three counts of molestation of a juvenile, and was sentenced to 90-days in jail and five years of probation for molesting three pre-teen girls. He reportedly touched the girls on the outsides of their clothing between 1994 and 1995, and in 1996. The girls were between the ages 7 and 10 at the time.
