Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father John Fallon:

Father John Fallon was ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Ogdensburg in 1955. He served in multiple parishes throughout his career. According to media reports, in September 1985, he was arrested on charges of mailing child pornography to a photo lab for developing. The pictures were said to be of a boy who was under the age of 14. After investigating further, other photos of young boys from the town where Fallon was assigned were also found at the rectory.

He pled guilty to the charges in December 1985, and was sentenced to 5 years probation, as well as six months of psychiatric therapy.

He was reportedly living in New Mexico on "sick leave" from 1989-2000. He then moved to Syracuse retirement home and remained inactive. The Syracuse Diocese claimed they had no knowledge of his past offenses.

Father Fallon died in February 2005. His name has been included on the Diocese of Ogdensburg's list of credibly accused priests in November 2018.
