Summary of Allegations Against Father Marvin Justi:

Father Marvin Justi was ordained a Franciscan priest in 1958, who served in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. According to media reports, in 2016, a woman alleged that he sexually abused her when she was a 17-year-old nursing student at Sewickley Valley Hospital when Justi was a patient in 1969. He became aroused when she gave him a sponge bath and urged her to continue washing his genitals. He then started sending her lewd notes. When the victim's mother found Father Justi's notes, she reported him to his boss.

Later in her career, the victim was working in Ambridge at a physical therapy office. Father Justi came to the office as a patient in 1982, then undressed and refused to put his clothes back on during his session with her. He was sent out of the office. A few years later in 1985, Father Marvin Justi came to the victim's house uninvited. After she let him in, he went to the restroom and came back out with no clothes on. It looked like he had just shaved his genitals. She was going to call the police, so he left.

Justi died in 2009.

He was named publicly as accused in a priest profile in the 2018 Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report. His name was included on Archdiocese of Kansas City's 2019 list of clergy credibly accused of child sexual abuse.
