Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations against Father Michael Victor Marron:
Father Michael Victor Marron was ordained as a priest for the Diocese of Clogher in Ireland in 1930. He came to work in the United States in 1961, and served in multiple parishes in the Diocese of San Diego. According to media reports, in a 1963 letter found in his personnel file, there were a number of complaints from parents that the priest was overly friendly with their children, particularly their daughters. He was asked to leave the Diocese of San Diego in August 1963.
Father Michael Victor Marron is believed to have died in 1979.
In March 2007, his name was included on the Diocese of San Diego's list of clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. He is the brother of another accused abuser, Father Peter J. Marron.
