Orlando Massage Therapist Admits to Fondling Customer, But Faces No Criminal Charges

Felipe Rodriguez-Bermudez, an Orlando massage therapist, who admitted to fondling a female customer, will not be facing criminal charges, even though the Florida Department of Health issued an Emergency Order restricting him from seeing female clients.   According to Department of Health records, Rodriguez-Bemudez has been licensed to practice massage therapy in Florida since April 2014.

Law enforcement records show that a female client reported that Felipe Rodriguez-Bermudez sexually assaulted her on May 2, 2015 during a massage at Aisha's Beauty Salon in Orlando located at Hunter's Creek Promenade, 4118 Town Center Blvd, Orlando, FL.   According to the complaint, he slipped his hand under her shorts and underwear and rubbed his fingers across her vagina.  A second complaint was lodged against Rodriguez-Bermudez based on alleged sexual misconduct on July 16, 2016 with a female client at Essentials Spa and Salon, 1507 Park Center Drive, #1K, Orlando, FL.   During that appointment, Rodriguez-Bermudez allegedly made unlawful contact with the client's breasts and touched her vagina.  As a result of these two reports, the Department of Health issued its Emergency Order on August 17, 2016.  This client reported the incident to the Orlando Police Department.  When Mr. Rodriguez-Bermudez was interviewed, he admitted he kissed the client and "sucked on her breast" in violation of his professional code of conduct.  Despite these complaints and the admission by the massage therapist, the Orlando Police Department has declined to make an arrest of Mr. Rodriguez-Bermudez.
