Summary of Abuse Allegations against Brother Masseo Butteri:

Br. Masseo Butteri was a member of the Franciscan Friars. According to media reports, in September 2019, Butteri was accused in a lawsuit filed under the NY Child Victims Act, of sexually abusing a 9-year-old boy from 1952 to 1956. It is alleged that the assaults occurred at Our Lady of Peace Church. The same accuser also alleged abuse by Fr. Rudolph Manozzi from 1953 to 1954. 

As of 2015, Butteri was believed to be working as a Brother at Our Lady of Peace in Brooklyn, New York. His current status as a Brother, whereabouts, and whether he has access to children are unknown.
