Father Matthew Kebe was ordained a priest in 1911, who served as pastor at St. Mary’s for 32 years, from in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. According to media reports, in 2019, the Diocese of Pittsburgh released an updated list of Clergy Against Whom Allegations Have Been Made. The only information that the Diocese of Pittsburgh released was that the allegation against Kebe was reported to the District attorney’s office in 2011.
