Summary of Abuse Allegations against Father Michael Haran:

Father Michael Haran was ordained in 1945. He served in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles until his death in 1973. According to media reports, one victim alleged child sexual abuse in 1948.  In 2003, he was named in a civil suit alleging that he sexually abused a child from 1949 to 1957. His name appeared on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ list of clergy credibly accused of sex abuse of minors. In January 2013, when the Archdiocese released files of over 200 accused priests, only one page of his personnel file was released.
