Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Father Peter Yost:
According to media reports, in 2005, Br. Peter Yost was accused of engaging in inappropriate physical contact with an 11-year-old boy in the early 1960s at St. Dominic’s in San Francisco, California. At the time the allegations surfaced, Yost was 75 years old, and his therapist judged him to be no danger to children since he was elderly, in poor health, and unable to drive. The case was settled that same year.
As of 2008, he was believed to be living at St. Albert’s Priory in Oakland, California.
