Spring Hill, Florida doctor Jacques Aristilde has been arrested by the Hernando County Sheriff's Office on charges that he molested a 15-year-old girl who worked in his office part-time. According to law enforcement records, Dr. Aristilde admitted to the crime when confronted by the girl's parents, who said the inappropriate touching began May 3 and continued until May 26 when their daughter told them what had happened. Aristilde was arrested on a charge of lewd and lascivious molestation. His bond was set at $10,000. He has been ordered to wear a GPS monitor.
This is every parent's worst nightmare. Doctors are professionals and parents should be able to trust them to be around children. It is horrible to think that this trust may have been horrifically betrayed. We commend this brave child for coming forward and reporting Dr. Jacques Aristilde to law enforcement.
