Dr. Ronald DeMeo Sexual Battery Case Lawyers – Legal Options for Victims
Ronald F. Demeo

Miami cosmetic physician Ronald DeMeo is facing serious criminal charges after two women accused him of sexual battery. A 29-year-old female patient accused him of sexually assaulting her while she was helpless and under sedation during a medical appointment in October 2025. After he was charged with the October 2025 crime, a second patient, age 39, reported that in September 2023 Dr. DeMeo raped her at his office after first demanding that she perform oral sex on him.

Dr. Ronald F. DeMeo, age 63, was first arrested on March 18, 2026, in Miami-Dade County in connection with allegations that he sexually assaulted a patient at his clinic, Meridian Cosmetic, located at 2801 SW 3rd Avenue in Miami. DeMeo is now facing three counts of sexual battery involving a physically helpless victim for the October 2025 assault and a separate sexual battery charge for the September 2023 incident. His arraignment is scheduled for April 17. There are two pending civil lawsuits against Dr. Ronald Demeo that filed in Miami-Dade Circuit Court.

According to media reports and public records, Ronald DeMeo operates two clinics in the Miami area -- Meridian Spine and Merdian Cosmetics -- that offer cosmetic, aesthetic, ant-aging, and pain management services. According to his website, he operates at another NYC location at the Pierre Hotel on East 61st Street. DeMeo has been a licensed physician in Florida since 1989. The Florida Surgeon General issued an Emergency Order on March 20, 2026 suspending DeMeo's license to practice medicine in the State of Florida pending a final hearing.

In addition to his medical practice, DeMeo has financial interests in several other Florida business, including Radiation Shield Technologies (developed a fabric that protects against against warfare chemical and biological agents and reduces heat for first responders) , Next Level Hair (a patented hair growth serum), and Lock and Load Fitness (a patented physical therapy and athletic training suspension device).

Details of the Sexual Assault Allegations Against Dr. Ronald DeMeo

According to the first arrest affidavit, the allegations stem from an incident involving a 29-year-old patient during a cosmetic procedure in October 2025.

Authorities allege that:

  • The patient was instructed to inhale nitrous oxide (“nitro”), a sedative used during procedures
  • The patient was also provided with a glass of wine while waiting
  • While under the influence of sedation, the patient became physically impaired and unable to resist
  • Demeo allegedly closed the blinds and sexually assaulted the patient while she was incapacitated
  • The patient reported she did not consent and was unable to speak or move during the incident

According to the reports, the patient recorded a video on her phone that allegedly showed the assault by DeMeo. Investigators who reviewed the video described it as depicting non-consensual sexual activity.

The September 2023 charge involves a patient who had a tattoo removed by DeMeo. After the removal, DeMeo told her to get an ice pack for her face, and the two went to a different room. In the room, the alleged victim said that DeMeo exposed his genitals, asking her to "Kiss it." The victim told law enforcement she said no to DeMeo, but then observed several needles in the room, and thought she could be hurt, so she agreed to perform oral sex on him out of fear for her life. According to law enforcement records, after she finished, she asked DeMeo if she could leave, and without warning, he raped her.

The September 2023 victim did not immediately report the assault but disclosed it the following day to a friend who worked with DeMeo. Years later, after seeing media coverage involving Dr. DeMeo, the victim came forward and reported the incident to police on March 19, 2026.

The co-worker later provided a sworn statement corroborating the victim’s account, confirming that:

  • The victim had previously disclosed the assault shortly after it occurred
  • Patients were often left alone with the doctor
  • Staff had observed inappropriate behavior, including the presence of a condom in a procedure room
  • Multiple female clients had described the doctor as “touchy”
  • Alcohol (wine) was allegedly offered to patients, and self-medication (e.g., Xanax) was permitted
  • She personally saw a condom in the Dr. Demeo's procedure room

Background of Dr. Ronald DeMeo

According to publicly available professional information, Dr. Ronald DeMeo is a physician specializing in interventional pain management and cosmetic procedures. He also has a massive social media following for his medical practice.

DeMeo became licensed to practice medicine in Florida since 1989. DeMeo completed advanced training at Baylor College of Medicine, where he later served as an assistant professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. On March 20, 2026, the Florida Surgeon General issued an Emergency Order suspending Dr. DeMeo's license to practice medicine in Florida on account of his arrest for sexual battery of a patient.

DeMeo was also licensed to practice medicine in Texas. On May 11, 2026, the Texas Medical Board suspended, without notice, the Texas medical license of Dr. Demeo (License No. J4770), after determining his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare.

His background includes training physicians, lecturing nationally, and publishing research related to pain management, spinal conditions, and minimally invasive treatment techniques.

Physicians Occupy Positions of Trust

When patients seek medical care, they do so in a state of physical and emotional vulnerability. Physicians are entrusted with access to patients’ bodies only for legitimate diagnostic and treatment purposes.

Under Florida law, any sexual contact with a patient is strictly prohibited, and medical examinations must be limited to what is medically necessary and properly explained. Sexual touching under the guise of medical care is unlawful, unethical, and a profound violation of professional duty. Potential claims against Dr. DeMeo include assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and false imprisonment.

The allegations against Dr. Ronald DeMeo describe abuse of this trust, involving conduct that investigators believe was motivated by personal gratification rather than patient care.
