Summary of Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Fr. Michael Allison:

Fr. Michael Allison was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Palm Beach in 1991. In 1997, Allison moved back to his home state of PA and worked in multiple parishes in the Diocese of Erie.

According to news reports, in January of 2024, it was announced on a public disclosure list that Father Allison was among three priests and a teacher under investigation by the Diocese of Erie for sexual misconduct or knowingly failing to prevent it.

The diocese lists an individual as "under investigation" if a report of abuse is made against them and the initial investigation corroborates the basic facts of the report. Diocesan officials said law enforcement was immediately informed. The investigation is still pending.

Fr. Allison died in 2020.
