Almost one year after his arrest in October 2022 in Winter Park, Florida, massage therapist Antoni Alexander Ramos, 22, was sentenced to five years in state prison and five years of sex offender probation to follow. Court records show Ramos pleaded no contest to felony sexual battery and two misdemeanors: battery and sexual misconduct in massage therapy. He was adjudicated guilty. According to the Affidavit, a female client went to Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Winter Park on the afternoon of September 9, 2022, for a two-hour full body massage by Antoni Ramos. Approximately one hour into the massage, the client, who has sleep apnea, reportedly fell asleep. She awoke to Antoni Ramos sexually assaulting her by placing multiple fingers inside her vagina and fondling her breasts without consent. The arrest affidavit states that the client told Ramos she wanted to end the massage after he was aggressively grabbing her breasts.
Ramos reportedly apologized multiple times for his actions. A forensic exam revealed that the alleged victim had an abrasion on her genitals. In addition, law enforcement arranged for a recorded control call between the victim and Ramos in which Ramos admitted he was wrong and made various confessions about his sexual contact with the client. During the investigations, law enforcement revealed that Ramos was accused of sexual misconduct on two other occasions since he received his massage therapist license in 2021. Media reports state the victim had been a spa customer for two years and was massaged by Ramos once before without incident.
